How to play Dbdguessr

Dbdguessr is the daily Dead by Daylight map challenge: one in-game screenshot, one map to recognise and one shot at nailing it first try. Everyone gets the same challenge, so you can race anyone you like to see who needs fewer guesses.

  1. 1 · Look at the imageThe screenshot comes from a real match. Watch the colour palette, the vegetation, the wall materials and the props in the background.
  2. 2 · Type your guessThe search box suggests the realms in the game and takes either the Spanish or the English name: “Granja Coldwind” and “Coldwind Farm” both work.
  3. 3 · Compare yourselfWhen you get it you will see how many guesses it took and how you did against everyone else that day. Come back tomorrow for the next map.

No. The game is free and asks for no sign-up. Your progress, your streak and your history live in your browser only.

Can I play previous days' challenges?

No. There is only one live challenge each day, the same for everyone; once it is gone, it is gone. That is what makes comparing results mean something.
